This series consists of the tellers financial statements, which are daily reports of the total financial position of the Branch Banks. Included are the date of the report, the amount of cash on hand upon that date, the amount of deposits made that day, and the total amount. Also included is a list of the amount received from private banks, from the State Bank and its Branches, from the railroad, and in foreign currency. The amount of specie within the Bank (in the bank's vault), the amount of specie in circulation and the amount from the checks paid and received that day are also recorded and totaled. Also recorded is the amount in gold, silver or counterfeits of the Branch Bank, but this information is not always included. This record functions as a form of balance sheet because the amount over or short is listed. This series is also referred to as tellers daily statements.
